Program: Department of
Children and Family Services:
The Role of the Emergency Response Worker
Speaker: Kelly Schreiner, MSW & Natasha Bibayoff, MSW
The Department of
Children and Family Services is one of the largest county
departments and can be very difficult to navigate through. The first
person from the department to respond to any allegation of child abuse
is the Emergency Response Social Worker. This presentation will discuss,
and answer any questions you may have, regarding the role and
expectations of this worker and ways to build a better relationship with
the community and the first line worker.
Kelly Schreiner, MSW is a Supervisor for the Department of Children and
Family Services. Kelly has been with the Department of Children and
Family Services for 14 years. She started out at the Command Post doing
front line work at night, and currently supervises an ER unit at the
Lakewood office.
Natasha Bibayoff, MSW is an Emergency Response Social Worker currently
supervised by Kelly Schreiner. Prior to that, Natasha was a services
worker for two years. Opinions expressed are those of
the speaker and not necessarily those of the Council and its membership.
